Chiseled Edge
This view of the chiseled edge shows the rust-colored veins that are the distinguishing feature of Porto Alegre Soapstone.
Grooved drain board
Most of the surface looks like this. Even in Porto Alegre Soapstone, the rust is seldom. In certain lighting, there are hints of green. Most of the time the soapstone looks grayish-black with white veins.
